"Do not weep for Me" proclaimed the Savior to the crowd, With crimson stripes across His back and thorns upon His brow. Outside the city walls they led Him up to Calvary, No greater love from heaven above and all for you and me.

The tears, the sweat, the blood flowed down while on His knees He prayed, With swords the angry mob drew 'round, by Judas was betrayed. They lied, they spat, they mocked His name and shouted "Crucify!" God's innocent lamb, His glorious plan, and in Him justified.
