Verse 1
They were so angry with Stephen, To kill him they all took up stones. From heaven Jesus was watching, And His care for Stephen was shown. With great concern Jesus stood up from the throne.

He had a great mob around him, Bloodthirsty and holding those stones; But, boldly preaching the gospel, He knew He would not die alone. He looked and saw Jesus, Standing at the throne.
